What is The Write Group?

The Write Group is a writers' support group that meets at the Montclair Public Library, in Montclair, NJ.

Its Statement of Purpose states:

We are a writer's support group that supports anyone with a serious interest in writing, whether published yet or not...

We believe that someone out there will want to read your work and will like it...

Out of this spirit of welcome, encouragement and peer-support a sometimes alarming number of activities has grown:

• Free Write
• Memoirs and Muffins
• Reading as a Writer
• Open Mics
• Write Group Reads
